High School Seniors

Public High School Seniors who are interested in teaching in the St. Mary's Public School system may be considered for a scholarship from SMCPSRA, if they complete a BECA application and meet the criteria.

General Info & Criteria

3.0 minimum GPA, enrolled in a teacher preparation program at a four year college or in a transfer program at CSM. Scholarship recipient is obligated to return to SMCPS to teach for at least two years after college graduation. Amount: $2000 first year, renewable for $1000 each of the next 3 years.
